March 13, 2019 – Portola Valley, CA.– Sekhmet Ventures, a newly-formed venture capital firm in the beauty and wellness market, today announced the appointment of Sara Kaur as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to accepting her role at Sekhmet Ventures, Sara served as CFO of Finesse Solutions for three years, where she helped Finesse expand its operations and launch critical new ventures in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ms. Kaur has previously worked in the venture capital industry for Hercules Technology in Palo Alto, California where she was instrumental in achieving first-year compliance efforts for Sarbanes-Oxley. She has also held positions as Finance Director and International Controller at Kulicke & Soffa Pte., Singapore and Director, SEC Reporting & Compliance at Ameresco Boston. Sara began her career in the UK at Honeywell as a Regional Controller. She then moved to Silicon Valley, where her work experience includes Google, Actel Corporation (acquired by Microsemi) and Varian, Inc. (acquired by Agilent).
