Codex Beauty has obtained COSMOS Organic certification for all five products from its BIA skin care range.
The BIA skin care range includes an exfoliating wash, day cream, skin superfood, eye gel cream and facial oil.
Certified by EcoCert, COSMOS Organic certification requires at least 95% of physically processed agro-ingredients (PPAI) be organic, at least 20% of the total product must be organic for leave on product, and at least 10% of the total product must be organic for rinse off product. Ingredients must be derived from renewable resources and manufactured using environmentally-conscious processes.
Additionally, the brand’s day cream, skin superfood, eye gel cream and facial oil received four EWG Verified certifications. The certifications come after evaluation from third-party certification bodies, which verify the quality of ingredients and performance of its products.
The BIA product line pays tribute to Ireland’s local herbalists and their knowledge of therapeutic plants.
